Brett Jensen (born November 29, 1983 in Humboldt, Iowa) is a pitcher for the Erie SeaWolves of the Eastern League. He played collegiately for Nebraska leaving the team with 2 team records. He went to high school at Eagle Grove High School.〔(Huskers.com Bio )〕 ==Amateur career== Jensen played at Iowa Central Community College as a freshman and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 45th round of the 2003 MLB Draft but transferred to Nebraska. In 2004, he went 1–4 with a 5.29 ERA and 2 saves. He threw 22 strikeouts and only 5 walks in 20 games played. Jensen had a 3–5 record with a 1.96 ERA and struck out 46 batters in 33 games his junior year. He set two Husker records with 16 saves in a season and 18 in his career. He had 5 saves in the post-season, including one in the 2005 College World Series against Arizona State (Nebraska's first ever CWS win). He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft after the season but turned it down to play his senior year. In 2006, Jensen went 5–0 with a 2.56 ERA in 45⅔ innings pitched. He ended his senior season with 13 saves, extending his career saves record to 31. The Detroit Tigers drafted Jensen in the 14th round (412 overall) of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft.
